The Allods Online Music Awards!
Release the pop star in you and take center stage at the Allods Online Music Awards, beginning today!
Ever dreamed of being up on stage at the Allods Online Music Award (AOMAs) show being presented with an award by your favourite Sarnautian pop group? Whether you grew up listening to the Fang the Thirsty and the Orcish Five, The Troubling Bards or the Critter Family, we know it is the dream of many ordinary citizens, from both Novograd and Nezebgrad, to become a star and bask in the adulation usually reserved for the fiercest warriors of their factions!
Well now we're offering you the chance to become a hero (of sorts) and win the hearts and ears of all music lovers of Sarnaut! Beginning today,Thursday, May the 31st, we're calling on all our singers, dancers, video directors and editors to submit their videos for consideration for these exciting categories!

And yes, when we say Best Original Music we mean you singing or playing an instrument! So don't be shy, show your original creation to the Allods community, we are sure there are some hidden talents among our soldiers!
This competition will have several phases: one for sending your videos, one for short-listings the videos, and one with a vote by the community that will determine the winners of our video contest! Here are the phases with the dates:

As with every contest there are some simple rules to follow:
- Videos should be a minimum of 30 seconds and a maximum of 4 minutes in length
- You can get your friends in-game to help, but prizes will go to the one who submitted the video
- Any content which is vulgar or inappropriate will disqualify you, with the content removed from the Guild Portal.
- Videos need to be uploaded to the designated Guild Portal thread <Tutorial for adding videos>
- Players need to name the video " MMORPG Allods Online Music Awards - [character's name]"
- Add tags to the video of "allods mmorpg fantasy
2012 gpotato" and link back to the Guild Portal thread for the contest in the video description
- Videos should be uploaded to Youtube so that we can add them to our Youtube channel
- Players can submit as many videos as they'd like, be advised you can only win once per account however
- All submissions must follow the standard Rules for the Guild Portal <GP Rules and Guidelines>
- All judges decisons on the shortlist are final
- Beginning Monday, July 16th we will post a shortlist of 3 videos for each category, one category per day. The video with the most likes wins the prize!
- Videos can be placed in multiple categories, but once they have won once they will be discounted from all other categories
- You can listen to and download Allods Online music from here (Please note that the website is in Russian, run it through Google Chrome for instant translation)
Don't miss this opportunity to get yourself written into the Historian's books as the greatest musician of all, and win some prizes in the meantime!

It's a problem with Youtube in general. I don't know why people tend to act like this on that site but it's pretty insane of someone to do this.
A friend of mine posted a short movie she made on there a few months back and whilst most people were polite and gave good feedback (both good and bad) there were a few who wrote things 'lol u r gay' and other hilarious comments.
To sum up: People are weird

True. I've also noticed very anomalous dislikes, that appeared mostly in the end of video accepting (9th July and so), while before that it has only likes. And when like ammount gets higher than dislike, these people tries to put more dislikes lol..
Anyways, they can't make anything themselves and just throws s*** in other gardens. :/

I´ll think there are quite many plp who are just rude in Youtube, and ofc plenty on 12 yrs who think they funny to comment and dislike everything they see :P

Log in and hit submit image on the fan creation box, you'll be able to upload directly from youtube.

What I do is freeze the youtube video at some part and use a free Snipping Tool download to grab it. You can upload that as your thumbnail. Alternatively just use a screenshot you grab in game

Shortlist coming later on today guys.
Each category except the Video of the Year gains the same prizes. Only one win is allowed per account remember, so should one of the nominated Video of the Year contestants win that and a separate category than they will receive the Video of the Year prize and whoever came second in their category wins that prize.
