Welcome to our latest edition of "A closer look at ..." where we will show you all the great features that will arrive in Sarnaut with our upcoming extension! You've already read about the amazing changes, that will come to the interface and mentoring system, discovered exciting screenshots of new allods that you will find in the astral and the Paladins and Psionicists have learnt about the helpful revamp of your beloved class. But in this focus we will head over to something that will please all of our tired out players, who are, due to the Astral journeys and thrilling raids in Gorluxor's Tower and Dead City, in need for some relaxing holidays and warming sunbeams!

The Tropical Atoll is coming back to Sarnaut son the 8th of August, and this time with some fantastic changes like a brand new mount, new beachwear and fancy costumes! So be sure to grab your ticket, because the travel agency will close their gates on the 31st auf August, and you sure don't want to miss this splashy beach party!




The first change we want to mention is that with the upcoming Tropical Atoll season you will be able to get three different gifts, which all contain different items:

	Tropical Summer Gift
	Sunny Summer Gift
	Moonlight Summer Gift

 

You're wondering why we will have three different gifts this time, aren't you? Well let's shine some light into the dark and inform you about all the great items you can get from the gifts, and in which ones exactly!

With every season you also get a new range of fashion items, ones that are guaranteed to make you the envy of the summer pool parties! With our next update, the Tropical Atoll will welcome you with a beautiful and brand new collection of beachwear for him and her! So if you want to get rid of your old bathing suit and try something new, then you should definitely show up in the Tropical Atoll during this time! How about some vintage style? Our red Polka Dot Swimsuit will let you shine at every beach party! If you need a glamorous new look to show up at one of Yaskers famous pool parties, then you will definitely take home the Flecked Swimsuit this year!

 

The white beachwear set can be looted from the Moonlight Summer Gift, whilst the red set can be obtained from the Sunshine Summer Gift. You can also get both of them, when you are opening the Tropical Summer Gift! 

You surely remember the sunny horse from this Event! You've gambled for days with the other players at the crab race, to gain more and more presents, and finally you received it from one of the gifts, your very own tropical steed! If you don't have one yet, be sure so spend some days at the beach and get your sunny steed, because the Tropical Summer Season will end on the 8th of August!

But for you, who did not get their free mount yet, and for all the other ones too, we have some great news on top of that, because the upcoming version will bring you a brand new summer wolf mount!

You can get both mounts from opening every gift you get from the Tropical Atoll, which will give you the perfect chance to leave the island with one of them, or even better, both of them!






Are you ready to let the beach party begin? Since everyone will show up in their gorgous new beachwear we mentioned above, you may want to stand out of the festivities with a very special otfit!

Do you remember our fancy brazilian carnival costumes? Guess what, they are coming back with the upcoming Tropical Atoll season! With some luck you will get those beautiful costumes from one of the gifts you collected on one of the minigames the Waterfolk people will invite you to participate in!

You can get the brazilian summer headgear and costume from the Sunny Summer Gifts and the brazilian moonlight set of course from the Moonlight Summer Gifts.

But don't worry, because our beloved classics like the Tropical Crown and the Tropicana Costume will still be availiable, if you did not get the chance to grab one in the previous holiday seasons or if this will even be your first visit at the Tropical Atoll at all!

For  everyone who does not know, what awaits them on this sunny paradise, we will give you a brief information about the minigames you can play, when you spend a visit on the beach:


 Crab Racing


Of course, summer holidays wouldn't be summer holidays without some fun and games now would they? So the new Tropical Atoll comes with some joyful quests. How about trying your luck at the crab race, betting on your favorite crab and winning some gifts? A well fed belly would run faster, so you have to collect some crab food on the island to give to your favourite crab, which will increase its speed to a six legged sonic the clayfish! But don't feed him too much, or he will slow down and won't get mama some new shoes! But where do you get the crab food? First you have to grab some friends and search through the lagoons, because the crab food will be hidden under huge stones, which are impossible to move all by your own, but after you found some people to help you, the stone will be lifted as light as a feather. After you got yourself some food, head back to Dodo the Crabber, to make your bet and then let the race begin! Good luck! Tipsy Marathon

You can find some fruits on the island as well, which will find their use in creating some delicious cocktails for yourself, once you have obtained the cocktail recipes from the barkeepers all over the island that is. And what to do best with some fruity drinks than participating at the tipsy race! In this race you have to circulate at the bars, drinking all the refreshing cocktails - and you can guess, it will be really hard to hit the last few bars, as your character starts staggering more and more with every drink! First of all you have to ask the barkeepers about their recipes, so that you can make some cocktails on your own, because unfortunately you can carry only one cocktail of each type. You need more than that, but the barkeepers don't want to serve some drunkards!

Are you interested in a more healthy kind of a race? You can get a nice prize if you participate in the island marathon, where you can enjoy the amazing new environment by challenging your speed limit! Or are you not even interested in those (more or less) sportive events? You can have some fun at the Kara-Oki with the new musical bard class, but even if your class is not such a talented musician, you will have lots of fun!

Marathon 

If you talk to Zip the Wing-Footed from the Waterfolk people, he asks you if you want to participate in his athletic double-event, where you can win precious gold coins and summerly beachwear! You simply have to take the quest and then run as fast as you can! What sounds easy in the first place is kind of tricky though.

You have several action buttons at the bottom of your screen, which will help you to speed up, breath, meditate or even take a drink at one of the bars across the way. So for example, if you realize, that you are getting a bit dizzy, just visit the bar, take a drink and you'll be fine. Of course you will have some other ways to win the race too, but we'll let you find out on your own!

Kara-Oki

If you visit Ole the Hospitable, don't hesitate to ask him about the favoured Kara-Oki game! If you want to participate, you first have to get yourself a tropical crown, from one of the slotmachines you can find all over the place. Afterwards you will be able to take the Kara-Oki quest and then you simply have to wait, until the fun begins. You will be inform with a red flashing message on the screen, right before the event starts. Then you got to be quick, save yourself a place on the stage and win the hearts of the other participants.

 

When you are on stage, you will see a action button blinking at the bottom of your screen. Klick on it, and four other buttons will appear, which all stand for a different part in the song. When Ole starts singing, you have to follow his instructions and play along! It's fun and easy, once you know how to handle your instrument!



Don't forget to take a quick look at the calendar, because every Tropical Atoll event is scheduled in there.

So you will never miss the next Kara-Oki Session or let the Crabs start their Race without you!
