If you have no idea how someone has been able to obtain your gPotato ID or password or any other information for that matter, please check if you have an up-to-date antivirus program. If a virus has been detected, choose to repair the damaged files but do not suppress them as this could lead to more problems. After cleaning the file(s), the infected program(s) might need to be reinstalled to work again normally.

After completing those steps, please follow the procedures below to retrieve your gPotato ID:

- If you can still log in with your gPotato.eu account, visit your personal profile page and modify your password as soon as possible. 
Also, do not hesitate to inform the gPotato Support Team by submitting a ticket through our Help Desk in case of the loss of characters/equipment/money.

- If you cannot log in to your gPotato account or the email address associated with it, if your address has been modified without your authorization, or if you have forgotten your security question and/or answer, please contact the gPotato team by creating a new gPotato account and submitting a ticket explaining your case as soon as possible. The gPotato.eu team will confirm having received the details you sent, and will tell you the steps to follow in order to recover your account.

>> We reserve the right to suspend your account temporarily to protect it from any further intrusion and thus protect your characters and equipment until we can analyse your problem and secure your account. If your account has been suspended for these reasons, the gPotato team will contact you and will tell you how to reactivate your account.
>> Please note that Trojans can send information to other people, and should be considered a serious threat to your security. If these steps are not followed properly, it is possible that you may end up with the same issue in the near future.
