How to check if the servers are under maintenance

If you experience a connection problem (eg error 2.8 or 2.9) you did not before, it is very likely that the servers are under maintenance.

To see if the servers are under maintenance, please visit the Updates tab of the news section.

When servers are under maintenance, we post a news item in this section to indicate. Once maintenance is complete, we do change to indicate that the servers are back online.

Error Java / Internet Explorer / white page in the Launcher

It is very important to update Internet Explorer to the latest version (8) so that the launcher is working properly. You just have to install the updates into your Windows and / or go to the Windows Update site. You can also download and install Internet Explorer 8 from Microsoft's website.

Once you are sure that Internet Explorer is updated to the latest version, thank you check the following items in the menu Tools / Internet Options in Internet Explorer:
  • On the Security tab, verify that the security level is the minimum (average).
  • Click Custom Level and in the dialog box Security Settings - Internet Zone, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  • In the Privacy section (3rd tab), move the slider at the bottom to accept all cookies.
  • Make sure you have Java.
  • You can test whether you have the latest version of Java on this page.
  • Feel free to restart your computer after installation.
As a last resort, we recommend you try the following manipulations. To determine whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit, click Start, then click your right-click Computer, then click Properties.

  • Disable UAC (Control Panel> User Accounts>> uncheck the Use User Account Control to help protect your computer). We recommend you to reboot your computer.
  • Then click Start> All Programs>> Accessories
  • Right-click Command Prompt (Command prompt) and then click Run as administrator
  • Type the command regsvr32 jscript.dll
  • Type the command regsvr32 vbscript.dll
  • You should get a confirmation message for each of these commands.

If you have Windows XP, Vista and Seven 64-bit
  • Make sure you have administrator rights on your Windows account.
  • Disable UAC (Control Panel> User Accounts>> uncheck the Use User Account Control to help protect your computer). We recommend you to reboot your computer.
