Referal program - The Dreadnought Issue or intentional oversight ?
Hello all,
In recent days i have been puzzled by the referral program and one of it's rewards in particular, The Dreadnought skin and it's cost of 8750 coupons.
I dont know if this is done intentional or not but the price for a SKIN is outrageous at best, and this issue needs to be addressed somehow
Lets take a look at the list:
- Fierce Wolf - rank 2 MOUNT - 3360 coup - fair price and deal for a mount +unique skin
- Sqall's Feather - rank 3 MOUNT - 4690 coup - also fair price
- Color Pattern Dread - rank 4 SKIN - 8750 coup - SCAM price for only a skin
- Master Goblin - permanent - 13.650 coup - fair price for a such desired item.
See where i'm going with this????... All rewards give either mounts or very useful items except the Dread Skin.
Now i will explain to all the mystery of the overrated price for a SKIN.
When this program was introduced in Russia the reward was ...drum rolls.... Dreadnought MOUNT +unique skin, ergo it's PRICE, witch following the logic of previous rewards (mounts) and increase cost it is more then a fair price, since you need to spend 25.000 gpotato (210 euros) to get it
Now problem on Russian shards was that at that time the Dreadnought was the most powerful mount available because of it speed + pvp skills(ru shards + US have militerise version of this mounts), and having such a big population they thought ppl where getting this mount to easy (witch is not in my opinion) but anyway...i don't really know the exact cause of it's transformation form Mount +skin to only skin.
So i want to ask gPotato why the cost of the reward hasn't been adjusted since ít no longer provides a mount and only a somewhat meaningful SKIN?
I propose a solution to this matter.
Keep the price but reintroduce the mount+skin
And i will tell you why to:
- Dreadnought in EU is NOT a militerised mount, so it will not create pvp ,or any game unbalance.
- More then half of the server already have rank 4 mounts ( golden prophetic cards) that are same or higher speed.
- The incoming Titan mount that is Rank 5..and 4.0 patch that will bring other more powerful mount.
Pls take all of this into consideration and fix this problem.
Ps - if all fails at least adjust the price to be more in line with a skin of a mount , not with the mount itself

It's supposed to be an incredibly rare mount. It's also very overpowered, even though it can't attack. CC immunity and high hit points.
There are other, much cheaper and more common mounts that are faster than dread. The new lion for example.
Throne and Aegis are also basically same as dread.

The author of this post does have a point here. I don't mind the price itself but it's okay for skin+MOUNT not for just a skin.

Well under normal circumstances i might agree with you BUT.
The price was that same for Mount and Skin , and now you selling only the skin for same price... i know it's a bad times we going thru ..but rly?
It is rly obvious the price was intended for the mount and skin ,, and are the other 2 mounts + unique skins ....

Hi,
The price is for the colour pattern, as indicated in the rewards list. It is purely a vanity item, if a player wants to obtain the dreadnought mount (or some other Rank 4 mount), he/she can get it from the auction house, in the boutique while it is available or as a reward for an event if included among the prizes.
Vanity item lovers might want to obtain it as it is a very exclusive and rare mount pattern, for the others interested in more practical rewards, there is a wide range to choose from, which includes mounts.
We will nevertheless consider your feedbacks. Thanks for your suggestions.
